Vibhor Mathur
Postdoctoral Research Associate
I’m a researcher in social policy and development, and social entrepreneur with many years of experience in working with vulnerable and marginalised populations around the world. I have been involved in basic income research and activism for many years. I was the Founder Editor for emergencybasicincome.com, which aimed to collectivise and assist human rights and basic income advocates from around the world in campaigning for emergency cash support during the pandemic. I am currently at Cardiff University working on the evaluation of the Basic Income Pilot being run for the Welsh Government. My doctoral research at the University of Bath is studying the effects of a Basic Income ‘Plus’ Pilot on experiences of dignity, freedom and decent work for the urban poor in south India.
